Named Scholarships

Individuals or organizations may make either a one-time contribution, or a structured contribution over four years, to be recognized with a named scholarship.

  • 2013 James Wilson and Mike Runyan Silver Matthew Shepard Scholarship

    James Wilson (Jessica Tyler) and Mike Runyan (Lucy Jackson) have supported the LGBTQ community and raised money for a range of charities including HIV/AIDS support and education organizations and anti-bullying organizations.

    Joy Corning, Iowa's Republican Lieutenant Governor, 1991-1999 and Sally Pederson, Iowa's Democratic Lieutenant Governor, 1999-2007, joined forces to champion the cause of Marriage Equality long before the Iowa Supreme Court decision in the Varnum case on April 3, 2009.
